The Professional Home Office

For years I built professional home offices on these hillsides — the lawyer’s office with its own gate, the author’s quiet room, the HIPAA-private telehealth studio — along with the outbuildings, wine cellars, pergolas, and flagstone paths that turn an acre into a place a family lives across, not just in. I photographed a great many of them. What I did not do, at the time, was ask the owners’ permission to show their private spaces on a website.
So I am asking now. I am reaching out to former clients to see who would be glad to have their home office or outbuilding shown here — and, for the spaces I never photographed once they were finished and furnished, whether I might come back and take new pictures. Going forward, that question will be part of the work from the start.
It will take a little time to do that respectfully. When the page is ready, the homes on it will be here because their owners wanted them to be.
